APPTV IS...
Appalachian State University's student-staffed television channel that operates out of Boone, North Carolina. AppTV serves the Department of Communication, Appalachian State University's campus and the community through the development of original programming.
Its programming seeks to showcase the highest standards of creativity and professionalism. This is done through content and execution that strengthens the bond between the university, Boone and North Carolina's High Country.
Most shows on AppTV are operated by students, offering a great, hands-on learning experience for Mountaineers interested in
a career in broadcasting. AppTV is available on Skybest channel 20 or 1020, Spectrum-Charter channel 198 and on campus channel 23-3.
