Appalachian State’s Department of Communication creates and sponsors the annual Panorama event. Panorama is an interesting and fun experience where a group of App State students individually present and speak on a topic of their choosing in a format similar to TED Talks. These topics can span from current issues and academics, to social movements and technology, and so much more. Panorama is filmed by AppTV and broadcasted periodically throughout the year. 2017 marks the fourth-annual Panorama event on the Appalachian State campus.
