Roger Gonce

Roger Gonce joined AppTV in 2013 as the channel's creative director. He has been teaching advertising and visual communication at Appalachian State University since 2006.
Before coming to Appalachian, for more than ten years, Gonce worked in creative advertising and design. While in those professional positions, he created award winning projects for clients across a wide range of categories including automotive, tourism, education, cultural, financial, sports, and manufacturing. In addition, Gonce produced a considerable number of pro bono projects for various charities.
An Asheville, North Carolina, native, Gonce holds a master's in graphic design from North Carolina State University and a BFA in the same subject from Western Carolina University, where he also served as Adjunct Professor of Design for four years.
